I had an excellent experience with Groundworks, particularly with their Certified Field Specialist, James Riley. I purchased my home in 2022 and have noticed progressive cracks in the walls and bathroom that appear consistent with normal settling. During the recent cold spell, some of these cracks seemed to worsen, and although I suspected this wasn’t a major foundation issue, I wanted a professional assessment to understand how concerned I should be. James came out to evaluate the house, and from the start he took my concerns seriously. I had initially worried that, without a clear foundation failure, my situation might be dismissed—but that was not the case. James spent over an hour thoroughly inspecting the home and walking me through possible causes, what signs to monitor, and practical steps I could take moving forward. His explanations were clear, honest, and never alarmist. In addition to addressing my original concerns, he also evaluated my sump pump system and identified some issues that, while likely unrelated to the cracking, could be improved with a modified setup. I appreciated his thoroughness and willingness to look at the bigger picture of the home’s health. Overall, I was very satisfied with the evaluation and professionalism James provided. If I ever need foundation or waterproofing work in the future, I would not hesitate to contact Groundworks again based on this experience.

The one year inspection is part of their initial service…which I think is Brilliant! Groundworks can monitor their lasting quality…plus ensure a continued relationship with the customer. In my case, Austin Holt noted that some grout had separated from the concrete patio that had been raised. He offered to reseal it while he was here. He did an outstanding job of resealing. Took lots of pictures of the project (before and after the grout work), to submit to the office for further review. Overall…super happy with Groundworks staff and service.

I recently had them out to repair my foundation, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. The crew was absolutely phenomenal–hardworking, professional, and respectful of my property. The customer service is truly stellar. A special shout-out to the **Foreman**, who kept me abreast of every single detail throughout the process. I never had to wonder what was happening or what the next step was; his communication was proactive and clear, which gave me total peace of mind. They repaired everything to perfection. What really impressed me, though, was their attention to detail. There were a few slight things that didn't even necessarily need to be repaired or replaced, but the crew took care of them anyway just to ensure the job was done right and provide that extra touch. It is rare to find this level of integrity and craftsmanship. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Gardner came to do an inspection of my basement and provide a quote. I had received other quotes that only provided for a single sump pump install at outrageous prices. He was very thorough, took two hours to measure, inspect, provided videos and explanations on everything, and the quote was shockingly affordable with so much more work I was ecstatic! I am getting a three sump pump with back up battery, and so much more for basically what the others quoted. And, to have the option to finance through Greensky was the cherry on top! If you are in King County, ask for Gardner @ GROUNDWORKS – you won't regret it!

Ohio Basement Authority sent a most professional service representative, Nathan, to my home today. Nathan quickly repaired a loose gutter installed in a pipe belonging to my system, and inspected the system in my house. Everything was A-okay! He showed me photos of everything he inspected. I had never seen the inside of the pump well before, very interesting! He answered all my questions My system and backup battery passed the test! It's such a value when you get what you need from a Service Representative!

The solution was still within the scope of what was laid out. There was two small sections that they was unable to level off due to original construction flaws. When the work was completed they did a thorough job of cleaning I was very satisfied with the job they did.Guiles and Jason went above and beyond.

Sean came out and did a very thorough inspection of our foundation. He found that the issues I was concerned about were merely cosmetic and did not try to sell me any unnecessary services. He also made suggestions for small things I can do myself to keep water away from the foundation. Excellent communication and very friendly as well.

I met JC at the Oklahoma Home & Outdoor Living Show and he was super friendly, knowledgeable and happy to schedule a time to come out and do a free inspection on some work we are going to get done. He followed through on that, coordinating a good date and time for myself and then showed up on time. He was thorough and clear on the work that needed done and what that process would look like, providing videos and case studies, backing that up. He also broke down the cost, showing me payment options. He did all of this in a very non-pressure sales process, primarily just informing me on what is needed and why it needs done. Will definitely be using JC and Groundworks for my foundation needs!

First, met with Matt, the field inspector, who described the process, time involved, and project amount. He was professional and friendly. Then we met the site crew, Samuel and Kevin. Can't say enough about how hard they worked, and the amazing results. They communicated with us several times during the course of the project, answering questions, showing us what they had done, and suggesting we take photos of the project that would soon be buried under dirt, in case we had questions later. From the initial mtg with Donovan, the foundation process was reviewed and explained well with booking of the work easy and timely. The day of, communication with the onsite team was clear, visuals were shared, any concerns addressed, work area cleaned up, and all done in one day instead of the initial estimate of two days. The crew worked diligently and late in the day to ensure everything was taken care. My overall experience was very positive and definitely ensures I would recommend them.
