From the moment the crew arrived, we were impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. They kept us informed every step of the way. We were very happy with the process and the results of their work. I wanted to share my positive experience with Aaron Nelson from Groundworks. He was incredibly patient and thorough while measuring the foundation of my home and didn't recommend repairs because the measurements were as expected. He spent about an hour and a half taking measurements and clearly explained all the different levels, and he even explained how Groundworks repairs cement foundations by filling them in and lifting parts of the house. Aaron is knowledgeable, honest, and services most of Northern California. I highly recommend him and Groundworks!

Groundworks Company employees did our foundation support/repair today. Needless to say, we were nervous about the work and what would be going on during the procedure — wondering if anything would be damaged?! However, our concerns were quickly alleviated by the Foreman Joe and Co-Foreman Kaly — before starting they explained the entire process and invited us to watch them and voice questions and/or concerns. They assured us they would stop work should any problems arise and alert us immediately!! While performing the work, we were invited to participate with them showing us how air escaped from one of the drilled holes while filling the hole next to it. How Wild!!! We instantly felt relief that these very personable company employees were well versed in their job and we were able to relax and trust the process. We entrusted Joe and Kaly to care for our home; knowing they had its best interest in mind! That any further settlement in our foundation would be eliminated! We also have a maintenance program where the company will monitor the foundation yearly; should any changes come about, they would then take care of the issue! Thanks for a great job done; your abilities and your assurances, Joe and Kaly!!! WeTruly appreciate you and your company!

We had Matthew Dabling come out and give us possibly the most comprehensive quote I have ever received from anyone. He matched the competitions quote and made me feel confident in the decision to choose them. Matthew was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. He also inspected the foundation and basement and presented us the solution that was best for our situation instead of just selling us a waterproofing solution for the sake of a commission. I did not include a photo because the photos you see in their ads are very accurate. I was a property manager for 20 years and I have never had anyone do a better job than this team. Yes, it was expensive, but they solved a water intrusion problem and made the crawl space clean enough to sleep in. Our crawl space entrance is in an awkward closet and they protected the floors and kept everything immaculate while digging a drainage trench, installing a thick, clean barrier and a sump pump.

After having three different waterproofing companies assess our basement we’re glad we chose BQ Basements & Concrete (Groundworks). Josh came out initially to inspect and was very well informed. He was able to answer all of our questions and explain the process and reasoning behind it very clearly. He also made himself available to answer any other questions that came up over the phone or texts. On the day of the work Steve (foreman), Pedro, Tim, and Chris arrived on time and got right to work. They took extra care to cover the few items we had in the basement and to keep dust from getting into the rest of the house. They started with some demo before working on the drain system. Steve was communicative and invited me to see their progress along the way. The crew was not only hardworking but respectful and friendly. They seemed quite efficient and finished when they said they would. They also did a great job cleaning up and left the basement cleaner than before they got there. This was the most well organized and efficient company that we encountered. Thanks to BQ Basements we now have the ease of mind of a waterproofed basement.

Our home had a crack in the foundation and needed it to be fixed and stabilized. We had Groundworks out this week and had a great experience with Juan Paramo, Manuel Garcia and Willi. They arrived on time and finished the work the same day. They were very pleasant to work with and did a great job! Highly recommend them! The very next day we had Ivan, Dre and Dell out to move the downspout and level the stoop and driveway. They were also on time and finished in a few hours. Very happy with the work and the team!

Mark Odell from Groundworks came out to my house this morning to inspect some garage floor and driveway cracks. He was very knowledgeable, explained his process, performed his analysis quickly and precisely and delivered his results verbally to me. Though I felt he could have recommended more work to do as a result of his review, he only recommended what he thought made sense if it was his house. I liked that approach, and I felt he dealt with me very honestly and clearly. Since retiring from banking after 43 years, with many contractor experiences, Mark’s approach and handling of our situation was top-notch! I would not hesitate to call him again.

We called this company because it specializes in. Home foundation works. The main problem We had was a damp smell that came from the area where the crawl space is located. The estimator, George told us that the foundation was good but there were issues with moisture affecting the walls and insulation. Mr. George explained my options and offered me financing so ai accepted the deal and the came back to do the job in less than 1 week. There is nothing better than knowing you are breathing clean air in your house. The installation crew was super professional and productive completing the job in one day! Highly recommend this company.

ABOVE AND BEYOND! Rick always called at the beginning of the day to let me know their arrival time. Before they begin work each day Rick tells me what they plan to accomplish that day. Because I work from home the team has been so thoughtful and minimized interruptions, foot traffic (by getting in/out through basement window), and especially noise. Where they went above and beyond were two instances; 1) when they cleaned out one gutter drain seeing all the water that was coming into the basement from it being clogged. This was so they can do a cleaner job in that area of the house. Rick also recommended I hire a gutter company to do a more thorough cleaning and maintenance. And 2) when Rick looked into the sump pump after I asked him to, which I know is not in their scope. He confirmed the noise is normal and the pump is working properly. He even asked Victor to tape up the pipes coming out of the ground to provide some stabilization and hopefully reduce the noise. Rick and his crew are a professional, respectful, efficient crew. They do a very thorough and excellent work! I know I made the right decision going with Groundworks having worked with Rick and his crew!
