They explained exactly what they were doing and when they ran into a snag they explained the alternative plan to me. The field supervisor stopped by to make sure everything was going well and spent time to answer questions. The Groundwork’s team on the job was Jon, Cooper and Jason. Very impressive!

Ricardo S. kept me in the loop on the work with detailed clear information and he was always open to my questions. The crew: Zack M, Alija M., and Uriel V.) were down to earth, professional, and trust worthy. They cleaned up everything nice and neat. I am pleased with the job and will use Groundworks again. After a through examination, he gave me a detailed explanation of what was happening. I then asked about an estimate. He explained that GroundWorks does not remedy my specific problem. After all his time, sleuthing for the problem, suggesting a remedy and explaining the problem as he saw it, his company could not assist. That was the sign of absolute honesty and integrity. If I ever had work that GroundWorks could remedy, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them and will recommend them.

My Groundworks experience was great. Mike E came on a Saturday after the first appointment had to be rescheduled. He explained everything in advance, asked appropriate questions, and got right to work. He worked hard for 6+ hours and I never even saw him take a break. Toward the end, we had some intermittent rain and he had to stop. But he rescheduled the small amount of work to be completed within a week or so. He came back and finished very quickly. I was very pleased with all the results of my fix (for concrete lifting issues) and attribute it all to Mike for his attention to detail and professionalism. Thanks to him and Groundworks, I won't be tripping any more!

We had a portion of the driveway that had cracked and caved in a bit. They were able to raise the cracked portion and will fill the cracks. It looks new, with only the seal showing where the cracks were. They also raised part of the walkway to the house, which was uneven and posed a hazard to people walking up to the house. Overall, they did a very good job and finished in a reasonable time.

Working with Groundworks has been absolutely fantastic. The Field Inspector Alen was extremely informative and understanding of the issues we were having. He was able to work with us on getting the right project and details set for our needs. Foreman Roger and Crewmember Juan were punctual, professional, and fast while doing a fantastic job. They gave me the same warning Alen did about my pavers possibly lifting. I had not issue because I’d much rather fix that than have my previously expensive project go in the trash and slide down our hillside. Instead, the finished project came out better than expected, rarely any lifting, only one spot where the foam came up but I’ve covering that area anyways, and very clean and thoroughly produced. I cannot recommend Groundworks enough at this point and will definitely be using them in the future. 5* to all of their workers.

I had a sidewalk out front that needed to be leveled and a concrete patio out back that was cracked and uneven. John and Ethan did an absolutely wonderful job, they were friendly, polite and professional. No more worries about somebody tripping on the sidewalk and we will enjoy the patio for years to come. Groundworks is an amazing company with great customer service! I called and scheduled for my free inspection and Stephanie was able to arrange it for the next day. I received text message reminders and Joseph, the inspector, called me in the morning prior to his arrival to also confirm the inspection. He was running a little late but again called in advance and sent a text message letting me know what time to expect him. Once he arrived, he listened thoroughly and walked the property with my husband and I. The inspection was smooth and explained our home’s foundation flaws which were minimal. No immediate repairs were needed, I especially appreciated his honesty. I recommend this company if you are looking for foundation repairs, crawl space repairs, or concrete lifting. My husband and I are honestly impressed on how well the inspection went and the professionalism the inspector and staff work and communicate. Thank you!

We had an emergency with a broken sump. Daniel Cippone came out the same day to look at it. He was able to work with Groundworks to get a team fix it within 3 days. Thankfully not much rain until the day of the fix. We had two amazing men , Ade and Vandyke, completely fix and repair two sumps. They were exceptional. Rob Trevison came by as well to oversee the work being done by these two exceptional men. Thank you very much for a job well done. More expensive than we were hoping but the peace of mind is worth it.

Getting piers put under your house and having it lifted is a very daunting preposition. We need to pull the trigger to try and correct some settling and also prep for future work. Luckily the team that Groundworks sent over (David, Russell, & Enrique) really made the experience as painless as possible. The entire team was super friendly the entire week they were on site, even working through some pretty gnarly weather. David did a fantastic job explain the entire process and answer any questions I had, even some of the hypothetical ones about different scenarios. During the lift they did a great job in making sure there was little stress on the house as possible, this was key for us since we had just done a bathroom and kitchen remodel not that long ago.

Chris at Groundworks recently came out to inspect and service the crawl space dehumidifier. He did a thorough inspection and fixed the dehumidifier. Chris was very nice and professional and communicated prior to the inspection as to timing of when he would arrive. The person I talked to in the office was also very nice and professional. Amazing! Wyatt, Quevin, & Tucker came out to do some work in our crawlspace. I am super happy with their work! They were very professional and I never doubted for a second that they were doing what was best for our home. I can’t thank them enough, and I will absolutely be back if we need more work done! my boyfriend and i called because we are having problems with our cold joints leaking in our basement. joe traylor showed up and was extremely thorough with the process, took his time asking us questions and what we were looking for. he took his time checking out our foundation and explained some concerns but didn’t push for anything we weren’t looking to take care in the moment, which we greatly appreciated. he made us feel comfortable with what will be the permanent solution and what to expect through the process. he eased our minds quit a bit. thanks, joe! and he’s cool because he listens to good music!

They encountered a few curveballs along the way but were able to adjust on the fly, explain the situation, and land good outcomes. They took care to clean up throughout the process and minimize disruption. Great communication from our field inspector Josh from start to finish. I just had the BEST experience with Groundworks, working with Brian Eames, and the crew of Alex, Iuri and Luis. My project was a big project consisting of installation of approximately 40 pier piles, pin piles and helical piles to my foundation, in order to better anchor my home to the bedrock (I live on a hill). I was EXTREMELY nervous about the project and planned for it for a year and a half. Brian consistently calmed my fears every step of the way, and each time I had a question, he took as much time as needed to give me all the answers and reassure me. When my project finally occurred last week, I was immediately comforted by the presence of the crew – Alex, Iuri and Luis. They were professional, respectful, kind, and explained everything in detail before they started on the project to alleviate any concerns I had. When the project was complete, the clean up was amazing, They put everything back together perfectly, and it was as if they had never been here. I now have the peace of mind of knowing my house is secured to the hillside, and I cannot recommend Groundworks/Matvey highly enough.

Great experience with these guys on my foundation repairs! Lots of time was spent during every step explaining the process and answering my million questions. The field inspector that originally came out was very thorough and kind and continued to answer all my questions days later. The day of install my driveway was covered in snow and the crew even shoveled it all for me! I had some questions after install and the foreman was very helpful and polite answering all my questions. I also had a call after installation from the production manager who followed up on the work and he was nice enough to come out to inspect and make sure my concerns were addressed before remodeling took place. All the various people I worked with were very professional and kind. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of working with Malik, Andy and Showne, who were all extremely knowledgeable, professional, and highly motivated. Malik oversaw the project of installing a new sump pump in our crawlspace, rim joist Insulation, drainage matting and extreme block. Malik educated us about the sump pump system and explained how each layer would give us more protection against water damage, rodents, etc. Upon completion, we were amazed at how clean everything was and everything was done meticulously! I highly recommend Malik and his crew, as he is dedicated to doing an excellent job and making sure everything is perfectly done!

I just had a foundation stabilization done by FSS/Groundwork. From the inspection/estimate completed by Joshua, who was very thorough and explained the process and options to me in a way I could understood, to the crew who came and completed the job, I am very pleased. Mike, the foreman for my job, kept me up-to-date on his arrival each day, was very pleasant and informative of what they were going to do,the equipment they would be using and his crew, Elyas and David, were also very pleasant and didn't mind me checking on them and observing how the push-pins are pushed into the ground to reach bedrock. Each day, of only two days to complete the job, they cleaned up and when the finished on the second day, left things all cleaned up where I can hardly tell they were there! Highly recommend!

David Alvarez… I could not have been more happy that you were the rep from Groundworks to check out my homes issues in regards to crawl spaces. Aside from responding back and forth via text and or phone calls regardless of the day and or hour he was on time, professional, and knowledgeable of more than just the issue I had at hand. I do not write reviews, not that guy, never have been,but for this man, regardless of whether I planned to use the company for the job or not he is more than deserving of a great review. If his company doesn't already know how much of an asset he is I would be shocked.
