The crawlspace in our home needed lots of work. The old insulation was degraded and falling off, the sump pump was ancient, some evidence of moisture in the crawlspace, and the old tarp was degraded and the dirt under it was showing through. Sean came out and did an assessment and proposed some work be done. I was expecting the project to be overly expensive, but was shocked at the low price. I decided to move forward with the project. Clem, Dylan, and Khris came out and finished the job within a day and a half. Clem the foreman explained every step of the process. Clem and his team made me feel very comfortable with the work they were going to do. They replaced the insulation with new insulation. They replaced the sump pump and moved it to the back of the house, with a well in the backyard. The final step was to encapsulate the crawlspace. After everything was done, the crawlspace looked brighter and cleaner. Clem demonstrated the sump pump. Overall very satisfied with the work completed.

They worked diligently to make sure that their work was as secure as possible!!!! Periodically during the work day, Jorge would check with me to see if I had any questions or concerns!!! First off, Jason J. Stoughton is phenomenal!! A good company has to have a good team. We've been ripped off in the past from contractors, and it was hard to trust someone else to come in and do any type of repairs. Jason was very thorough in his assessment and took his time explaining what the issues were. I can actually say I was beyond impressed with the outcome! The whole crew (Evan, Roberto, Handyman Legend and the entire crew) were amazing and very supportive. They got straight to work. They explained what they were going to do and answered any questions that we had. I felt like part of the AFS family more than a customer. Thank you Jason and the crew for taking good care of us. The house has been in our family for generations and it means a lot to our family. I would highly recommend AFS and will be using them in the future.

Luke and Kaly came out today to lift my concrete and did a fantastic job of getting everything as level as they could. I have a lot of cracked concrete on an 80 year old property that needed leveled and sealed. Mike the initial guy that came out to go over what insurance wanted fixed as well as my concerns worked with me to get an affordable option for the job! They also offer great financing options if needed. I did just the lift portion from them but I'll do do all the filling of the cracks just bc I know how and it saved me money. I have a 3 year warranty where they will come out and measure and check everything once a year and a 5 year warranty on the work itself! This was not the cheapest company I got quotes from but they were the most professional and also had the warranties for the work so that is why I chose them! If you need help with lifting your home or concrete I'd highly recommend Groundworks!!!

Mike Drebes was fantastic! He came out to assess our sinking back patio and cracks there and in our (also sinking) driveway, walkway, and threshold. He explained well but succinctly what was leading to the issues and the available solutions on the market and how their polymer system was the best and permanent solution, as opposed to a quick fix. Mike worked diligently to get perfect measurements and also took a look at our foundation from the basement to assure us that we didn’t need to pay for more than we actually needed. Talk to Mike Drebes if you need anything regarding foundation/cracks in surrounding concrete slabs/sinking soil.

Codi Martin was very personable, knowledgeable, professional and patient with me. He gave good information, answered questions and educated me on the process/materials. This house is 114 yrs old & needs proper work done. Too many have come in and done sloppy get by work through the yrs my grandma bought it 1974. Thank you Wesley, Kody and Chase for your professionalism. The job was done efficiently and our property, both inside and out, was left in great condition. Very little cleanup and this says a lot as it was a wet, muddy day. Thank you too for including us in the process, explaining along the way. I had been dreading this day, knowing the work ahead of us. Instead it turned into a very positive experience for us. Our home is now in much better shape which brings a great sense of relief.
