Just had foundation work completed with a crew from Groundworks. Jefferson, Francisco, and Jose Alexander worked hard all day and did a fantastic job. They made sure that the steel piers were placed correctly and my house was raised up properly. Once the work was finished, they cleaned up the area.

Chris, Zack and Luck did a professional job and informative on progress during the job. They were determined to finish in a timely manner in-spite the difficulty of an exceptionally harder than usual ground. Due to a lack of rain in our area, the ground which is like the black gumbo mess was instead more like cement. I would recommend them to anyone needing work on their foundation or pier and beam home. The other popular companies didn’t want to mess with the project. Thank you Groundwork’s 😊

As someone new to homeownership, there are a lot of maintenance items that feel daunting and overwhelming. I asked Groundworks to inspect our foundation because I was seeing some cracks in the brick and a few inside the house. In these crazy economic times, I want to start preparing in the event that I need a multi thousand dollar repair on my home! Jacob came to do the inspection and was so, so knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me areas to look out for and what exactly I should be looking for as far as damage that requires foundation repair. He took measurements all around my house so that if I ever see signs of shift, I could compare new measurements to what he took today. We took pictures of the current state of the house, and he gave me really helpful tips to care for our foundation during the summer. I feel like I just got a fantastic masterclass on home care and I feel so much more prepared to care for this property as it ages. Additionally, I am a woman usually home alone when contractors come to the house and I’m nervous to have a strange man in my house, but Jacob was so kind and never made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you so much, Jacob! I will definitely be sharing my experience with others. Luckily, I don’t have to repair the foundation (yet) but when I do, I know exactly who I’ll call.
