Met with Nick T. to review some concerns about my house’s foundation. Nick was on-time, knowledgeable, and courteous. He throughly reviewed my situation, clearly explaining along the way, and advised a logical approach rather than attempting to up sell me. Matt Koons, Ohio Basement Authority, came to look at what we needed, explained the work process to us, gave us our estimate, and explained all of the contract. We got scheduled and then our work date was moved up due to a cancellation, so our entire job (estimate to completion) was finished in less than a week. Very happy with our project and with Ohio Basement Authority.

Daniel,Jon,and Kyle showed up to redo trench drain. This is the fourth crew to do work for us. The five stars are for the professionalism and way they handled the job, not for Basauth. Poor management and lack of follow-up. This crew rectified a couple small issues other than the shitty drain work. Again if you used these guys as examples of good work ethic and doing the best job that they can with limited resources you might not have customers like me seriously questioning your business ethics and practices. Hollis Smith of OBA came to my home and explaining the entire process from start to finish. He thoroughly inspected my driveway and sidewalk and came up a game plan based on my situation. He was professional and gave me a fair estimate for the amount of work involved.

The technician Mike Davies was courteous, clean, knowledgeable and on time. I had an incredible experience with Ohio Basement Authority. I needed significant work done in my basement to help stabilize the floors and support lifting the house over time, and the entire process exceeded my expectations. Scot, the sales rep, was outstanding. His communication, clarity, and ability to walk me through the “what,” “why,” and “how” made a huge difference. As a homeowner, I felt informed and confident every step of the way. He also set the project up seamlessly for the installation team. Daniel, the foreman, and his crew were equally great. He was very communicative, clearly explained what would be done over the two days, and kept me updated throughout the process. The team worked efficiently, stayed on schedule, and did a great job minimizing disruption. They were also very respectful of the space and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. Overall, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Their communication, efficiency, and attention to detail really stood out. Had a great experience with Ohio Basement Authority recently when they came out to look at our crawl space for encapsulation. Dakota Hruby was the one who did the inspection, and he was fantastic—super friendly, professional, and really took the time to walk me through everything. What stood out the most was how thorough he was. He didn’t just do a quick once-over and leave; he explained things in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I actually understood what was going on down there and why certain fixes were recommended. I never felt rushed or pressured, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the inspection and how much time they spent with me. It felt like they genuinely cared about doing things right. Definitely recommend if you’re looking into crawl space work.

Howard came out to do an inspection in my basement for water damage/leaking. He was absolutely amazing! I liked that he had videos detailing exactly what they were going to do. He gave me an opportunity to ask questions before I had the work perform instead of during. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
