The team of Omar, Luis, and Diego worked quickly to install piers to straighten the cracked foundation of our garage. They worked quickly and kept us informed of their progress. Trouble with their equipment caused them to stop work on the first day, but they returned the next morning with functional equipment. They invited me to watch the actual lift, but evidently forgot. They asked me to come and see the completed work. The large crack in the garage wall was closed and the gaps around the window frame were gone. From my perspective, it certainly looks great, but I have no relevant background or experience in this field, so I have no idea what to look for. They did a great job of restoring the work area to its prior appearance and cleaned up the work area after they finished.

I live in a home built in 1923. The house has seen many owners who have done many questionable things to the foundation. We’re putting new floors in our home so we thought it would be the right thing to do to address some issues with the foundation first. Daniel J. came and gave us a quote for the needed work. He took his time and proposed some solid solutions to our foundation issues. He was able to get a crew out to the house in 4 days instead of the 3-4 weeks that he originally had anticipated. Daniel went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The crew came in on a Tuesday and we’re done by Thursday. Ricardo M, Zach M, Jonathan L, and Alija M all worked hard to get things done! We have a really tight crawlspace and they added steel beams and jacks and completely encapsulated the crawlspace in 3 days. The whole crew were respectful of property and were professional at their jobs. All that said you will pay for the quality, but if a strong foundation is important to you then you get what you pay for. Also they are foundation specialists not framers so if you have framing issues you might need to address those issues separately. All in all happy with the results!

When I scheduled an Appt I knew who was coming out, the date and time and I received confirmation while I was talking to the receptionist. The Foundation Professional was Codi M. When he arrived he was prompt professional and very understanding. He asked us to show him in and around the house 🏠 what we felt was the "possible foundation issue" . This is very important to us Seniors. He was very pleasant and showed concern. Then he explained how their process works and what he does and he went straight to work. He used laser applications and tape and computer. He started in the house, then went outside the house, then he went under the house in the crawl space. He took pictures. Then the "verdict". He explained all his findings and told us what the cost would be if we decide to go with them. No pressure just straight forward. We were very pleased with the honesty and the professionalism of Codi M. With that being said, Of course we chose this company they absolutely made our home a priority and we highly recommend them if you are considering foundation solutions that work.

Groundworks created a plan for the work. The garage floor was fully lifted, the shed is level again and the cracks are sealed in the driveway to give us a little longer before having to have a whole new one poured. I needed push piers to stabilize my home's foundation, and after getting several quotes, I chose Groundworks. Their pricing was similar to…
I needed push piers to stabilize my home's foundation, and after getting several quotes, I chose Groundworks. Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits–for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent–very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great–he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.

The group was very plesant to work with and not a minute was wasted-they worked at capacity continually. Their percision really caught my attention. They checked each other's work and they required all measurements be perfect. When using their levels they adjusted until they had percision. I scheduled BAU to come out and do and inspection and confirmed that the misc cracks were being caused by settling foundation. The inspector, Chance, was outstanding making sure to explain what was happening and how to correct it. Our house needed 16 push piers to stabilize parts of the house that were settling up to 1 3/4". I've never been more stressed out. Enter Luis, Ken, and a few others whose names escape me. They were fantastic completing the work in about a week. It's hard to explain exactly what was done, but I ca. tell you that these guys know what they're doing. BAU also did some concrete work that also turned out great. Im extremely happy with my decision to use BAU/Grounworks and would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to others needing g this type of work. Well done! and thank you!

We had an extremely wet basement, pretty much completely unusable. Jim B, field inspector, came out and showed us the plan as to how to reinforce one wall and mitigate any water issues. Jim was very thorough and showed a great deal of personal care regarding our project. We decided to do the demolition part ourselves, but Jim was constantly in touch to make sure we were on track and answered any questions that came up. Moving forward to the execution of the project, Nick M, foreman and his partner, Mark, came out and completed the job in just 2 days! They were extremely professional and impressively efficient, and took the time to show me what was happening at each stage of the process. After a couple of rains already, our basement is 100% bone dry and I simply could not be happier. What a stress relief and Groundwork’s team made the whole process quick and painless. I couldn’t recommend their services more!

After that time, she determined there was nothing wrong with my foundation. She pointed out minor cosmetic irregularities which I had not noticed on my own. I was extremely impressed with her honesty and professional ethics. She was also a joy to be around.
