I was expecting a bright white filler (based on the tv commercial), but Josh used a filler closer to the color of concrete, then blended sand. The result was a much more natural look. I have an older mid 1960's Ranch House that the walls were cracking, the foundation had cracks in it, and really needed attention. The Groundworks crew including Luke Cummings, the Zaw Tun, and Isaiah Leichtle were absolutely incredible. Twenty-five special plates and Foundation push piers were installed to the footing in a little over a 4 ft crawl space. It involved digging and using specialized equipment. The difficult hard work of the crew and their equipment will keep my foundation sound for the rest of my lifetime. The job was completed in less time than was planned. The crew made sure everything was laser accurately correct. When they left everything looked great and they even swept out my garage where they went in and out. Their time, knowledge, and hard work is greatly appreciated! The whole process from digitally measuring the floor (Randy James), getting the permit, engineer approval, and the actual work was exceptional! Luke, Zaw, and Isaiah were a pleasure to meet. Thank you for your hard work.

This past week we had Groundworks out to gut and basically give us a brand new crawlspace. We recently had water damage due to an ice dam, and they were able to get us on the schedule really quickly, which we appreciated. The guys that were on our project were amazing (Jay L., Mike N., Danny T.) They hustled and worked so hard, were super polite, and always communicated what was going on. As someone new to homeownership, there are a lot of maintenance items that feel daunting and overwhelming. I asked Groundworks to inspect our foundation because I was seeing some cracks in the brick and a few inside the house. In these crazy economic times, I want to start preparing in the event that I need a multi thousand dollar repair on my home! Jacob came to do the inspection and was so, so knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me areas to look out for and what exactly I should be looking for as far as damage that requires foundation repair. He took measurements all around my house so that if I ever see signs of shift, I could compare new measurements to what he took today. We took pictures of the current state of the house, and he gave me really helpful tips to care for our foundation during the summer. I feel like I just got a fantastic masterclass on home care and I feel so much more prepared to care for this property as it ages. Additionally, I am a woman usually home alone when contractors come to the house and I’m nervous to have a strange man in my house, but Jacob was so kind and never made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you so much, Jacob! I will definitely be sharing my experience with others. Luckily, I don’t have to repair the foundation (yet) but when I do, I know exactly who I’ll call.

In October we contacted Groundwork’s for a home inspection of the foundation. We were contacted by Darren Breen. We explained to him our concerns and after his inspection, he explained our options, We decided that our best option was foundation stabilization. Darren explained this procedure to us in detail and a date for this job to be done was set up for February. In late November we were advised the necessary City permits has been obtained and the job could be started December. We were contacted by Amanda, project manager advising the date the work crew would be arriving and the project would be completed in two days, as advised the crew arrived on the assigned date. The crew was courteous and professional they answered any questions my wife and I had. The projected as stated was completed in two days. The crew did a good job cleaning up when the project was completed. Everyone that we had contact with from Groundworks were very professional and kept us apprised of everything that was being done. It was a pleasure doing business with all involved, A Job Well Done

We had an extremely wet basement, pretty much completely unusable. Jim B, field inspector, came out and showed us the plan as to how to reinforce one wall and mitigate any water issues. Jim was very thorough and showed a great deal of personal care regarding our project. We decided to do the demolition part ourselves, but Jim was constantly in touch to make sure we were on track and answered any questions that came up. Moving forward to the execution of the project, Nick M, foreman and his partner, Mark, came out and completed the job in just 2 days! They were extremely professional and impressively efficient, and took the time to show me what was happening at each stage of the process. After a couple of rains already, our basement is 100% bone dry and I simply could not be happier. What a stress relief and Groundwork’s team made the whole process quick and painless. I couldn’t recommend their services more!

After over a year of going through multiple companies bids and checking out everyone’s plan for their scope of work (I did my due diligence and contacted about 10 different companies) Groundwork’s was far and above the most streamlined, most professional and less pushy sales people to work with. They're also the biggest company nationwide and offered the best lifetime warranty. Chris H. started his bid at a realistic number to begin with unlike literally every other foundation company who started at some ridiculous astronomical number. Brogan and Caden who did the work were very efficient, on-time and friendly to work with and consistently checked in to see if I had any questions. I will legitimately recommend Groundwork’s to everyone in the future.

A heavy rain or snow melting day would leave a major puddle, so I worried about it getting worse, and mold. I saw the Groundworks ad on TV. (Good grief.) Before conducting the inspection, he thoroughly explained the entire process and what Groundworks’ specialized in. Following his extensive inspection, he reviewed all of his findings, including pictures from the crawlspace and explained how various issues were in need of remedy. He then carefully explained the approach Groundworks would take to address these issues in a very methodical orderly manner. The Poly crew was 1 day, took the time to communicate the entire process, and everything done exceptionally well – Guiles and Christian were OUTSTANDING, assisted in completing the final billing process and I would absolutely recommend the poly install of this process – Now pay them for the 5 stars. This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with part that eventually takes you to this last phase. For complete transparency, their PMs and the GM have attempted to work with us and reduced the overall cost very reasonably. But its not only $$, its my f-ing time !!! Today is Week 3 with the garage loaded with dirt and cement dust covering everything – and our yard was DESTROYED. So polycrew ABSOLUTELY did a great job – God bless you if you reach that point. I'm guessing by asking customers to rate the 2 phases separately, they get to cook the books and bump up all the terrible 1-star reviews. It used to be called "cooking the books" – but thats for you to determine….Wendy need not reply with some lame statement about GW standards or unacceptable etc. (My two ratings total six and you can excuse away your Yelp 3 star average)
