In February 2026, we contacted Groundwork’s with concerns about the stability of our home. Our floors were sagging, we had a large crack in our Living Room floor and hallway. We were also having trouble with mold and mildew. First, Groundwork’s Eric Reeder came to our home and inspected inside and out. Eric explained clearly what our structural issues were and how Groundwork’s could help. He also explained how crawl space encapsulation and a dehumidifier could help our mold and mildew problems. Eric was very professional and made us feel at ease. We were relieved that there were solutions to our homes issues. In March 2026, Joseph Bailey and his Groundwork’s team; Chris, Bryce and C.J. Basham came to install the needed structural support for our home, as well as encapsulating our crawl space and installing a dehumidifier. They were so professional, polite and friendly. Joseph patiently answered all of our questions, and explained about the work they would be performing. Joseph and his crew installed a floor support system in our crawl space to stop our floors from sagging, restoring stability to our home. They encapsulated our crawl space leaving it bright and clean. When the job was completed, Joseph and his team cleared all debris and left everything tidy. The work they performed has been such a relief. We have invested in the value of our home, and we are so glad we called Groundwork’s!

I was super tired of my leaky basement and decided to do something about it. I looked into Basement Authority because I was seeing commercials and ads all over the place. I read reviews and watched multiple videos of the work they did. I contacted them through the website for an estimate. They sent Mike Cornecelli to do my estimate. Mike was very open and honest about what I needed and what he could do to help me. I can imagine there is a more knowledgeable person out there because he did a very thorough inspection and took pics and measurements. He made a plan on his laptop and showed me exactly what was going to happen and scheduled my appointment for installation. I needed wall supports, a gutter system and vapor barrier to fix the issues going on. My original date of install was moved up 3 weeks, which I am really grateful for. I had good communication throughout the whole process and the men worked every day until it was completed. I have zero complaints and highly recommend everyone use Basement Authority to fix your basement issues. I have learned so much about why leaks happen and how to correct them. Every man on the job was extremely polite and quick to answer any questions I had. (The house has a half-basement.) He arrived early in a clean company vehicle and in uniform. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and down-to-earth. We went with BA of WV after Carrie came over to our house for the initial inspection and was able to point out several issues that both another basement inspector and our home inspector had never mentioned. She took great care to explain to us exactly what she was seeing and the steps needed to fix it. She walked us step-by-step through exactly what we would be paying to have done, and she kept in constant communication after we signed the contract. Brad and his crew were scheduled just a couple weeks after we signed, and they got the work done well ahead of schedule. I was extremely impressed with how the three men on the crew also kept us well informed each step of the way. They made it clear that they were consulting with Carrie and the supervisors through the whole process. **My favorite part about this crew was how creatively and kindly they managed to work around the unique issues out basement presented, even managing to work around issues that we had trouble getting solved before the construction date.** After this experience, we even have Carrie coming back again to discuss with us the logistics of tackling another part of our basement that has left contractors and inspectors baffled previously. Brad even said he and the crew would likely be back if we do the next project through BA. ✨TLDR: The whole team was kind, knowledgeable, consistent, quick, and reliable.

David Weaver and Brandon with Groundworks did an awesome job. We have a very old house with multiple issues with the basement as well as with poor drainage. He was very open and honest and we liked where there would be no third party involved in taking care of our problem. He explained everything in detail and we were able to understand what he was thing. Very friendly and very professional. I have the greatest belief that these men will really do the job at the best of their ability. I even let them use my truck so they would not have to drive these mountains in the company very large truck. If you want a good job done request these young men. Proud of them.

We went with BA of WV after Carrie came over to our house for the initial inspection and was able to point out several issues that both another basement inspector and our home inspector had never mentioned. She took great care to explain to us exactly what she was seeing and the steps needed to fix it. She walked us step-by-step through exactly what we would be paying to have done, and she kept in constant communication after we signed the contract. Brad and his crew were scheduled just a couple weeks after we signed, and they got the work done well ahead of schedule. I was extremely impressed with how the three men on the crew also kept us well informed each step of the way. They made it clear that they were consulting with Carrie and the supervisors through the whole process. **My favorite part about this crew was how creatively and kindly they managed to work around the unique issues out basement presented, even managing to work around issues that we had trouble getting solved before the construction date.** After this experience, we even have Carrie coming back again to discuss with us the logistics of tackling another part of our basement that has left contractors and inspectors baffled previously. Brad even said he and the crew would likely be back if we do the next project through BA. ✨TLDR: The whole team was kind, knowledgeable, consistent, quick, and reliable.

In February 2026, we contacted Groundwork’s with concerns about the stability of our home. Our floors were sagging, we had a large crack in our Living Room floor and hallway. We were also having trouble with mold and mildew. First, Groundwork’s Eric Reeder came to our home and inspected inside and out. Eric explained clearly what our structural issues were and how Groundwork’s could help. He also explained how crawl space encapsulation and a dehumidifier could help our mold and mildew problems. Eric was very professional and made us feel at ease. We were relieved that there were solutions to our homes issues. In March 2026, Joseph Bailey and his Groundwork’s team; Chris, Bryce and C.J. Basham came to install the needed structural support for our home, as well as encapsulating our crawl space and installing a dehumidifier. They were so professional, polite and friendly. Joseph patiently answered all of our questions, and explained about the work they would be performing. Joseph and his crew installed a floor support system in our crawl space to stop our floors from sagging, restoring stability to our home. They encapsulated our crawl space leaving it bright and clean. When the job was completed, Joseph and his team cleared all debris and left everything tidy. The work they performed has been such a relief. We have invested in the value of our home, and we are so glad we called Groundwork’s!

The experience that we had with basement Authority on our home was very good. Gary did an excellent job on an inspection. He covered all that he looked at all that he saw and what needed to be done and made suggestions and it happened very quickly and within 2 to 3 weeks after Gary was here, we had workers working to put in the complete system. We had a total of five different guys that worked on doing the insulation and encapsulation of the crawlspace. Jason, Travis, Wyatt, Cody and Michael were the guys that we had working on our crawlspace and the first day went super good. Jason gave us updates even if they were leaving just to go get some thing. They always told us that they were going out and they would be back in an hour or whatever the case might be, but they tried their best to keep us informed on how the job was going. They actually thought that they could get through in a day it did not happen but we finally got completed on the fourth day few different things happen but overall as far as a review, I think the guys did really well working in the crawlspace in the water in the muck Ron and Sharon W.

The crew were cordial and the foreman weny out of his way to check things out and explain what was going on. Robby was great. The only thing they forgot to do was install the panel to get into the crawl space. Otherwise they cleaned up everything and i was satisfied with the results.
