FINALLY someone honest, no deception or sales-y tactics. Ryan gave us feasible solutions to our safety concerns. He's a trustworthy and professional guy with decades of experience. For homeowners wanting details on the other 2 estimators we tried here you go – Cleveland basement systems was a complete rip-off and absurdly over quoted the job. Unfortunately we were among many in our neighborhood who needed foundation repair. We were evaluated and put on the schedule with a month time and a surprisingly low quote after I had been hearing my neighbors quote at least 3 times what we were quoted. The crew that came were prompt, checking in by text. They removed then replanted some shrubs and removed a small tree. They repaired a concrete hole in the driveway. Over all cleaned up nicely removing trash and sweeping dirt from the driveway. I hope I do not have to but I would hire them again. Highly recommend.

Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on. He reassured me that the main issue could be easily handled through my home warranty company, which gave me great peace of mind. What really stood out was that he also identified a separate leak I wasn’t even aware of. His attention to detail and willingness to help were truly impressive. I had 3 companies come out and give me a quote to restabilze the crawl space supports on my house. Groundworks actually ended up being a little higher than the other 2, but I decided to use them. My reasoning was they were actually going to install a few more supports and add a couple more joists than the other companies. They are also the only one that offered financing. The whole process was so easy, the crew was fantastic as well. They were personable, explained everything, and gave me updates as they worked. The project: install drainage to a yard basket from two gutter downspouts and a sump outlet. Everyone we interfaced with was great to us – Sal gave us the quote, Steve in production got us taken care of for utility marking, and José C. and Rigoberto were great installers. Our property was left very clean and José and Rigoberto were very professional. The price was fair as well. The only reason for four stars instead of five is internal communication within Groundworks. We had scheduled the job a few months prior, but utility marking was not complete by the install date. The install crew had outdated plans from an earlier proposal of scope and the quote in their system didn't match the copy we had received when we signed. That said, when we got ahold of the right individuals everything was ironed out and overall we are happy with the work.

Contacted Groundworks to evaluate our foundation, as we have some signs that it may be settling. Was contacted by Justin Collins. Justin made the evaluation appointment and showed up right on time. I mentioned that his company had previously done some work to our driveway and he noticed that the driveway was heaving, due to tree roots. Even though the work was out of its stated warranty, Justin had a team come by and see if they could improve the situation. Jamie Ross and Curtis Warren came to our house, within an hour, and proceeded to level the driveway at no additional charge. Justin completed his evaluation and presented us with a competitive bid. He was extremely thorough in his explanation of the process. Thanks Justin, Jamie and Curtis! I feel much more comfortable and informed in making the decision to undergo repairs to our foundation.

We had Josh Kennedy come by to give an estimate for adding 5 posts and reenforcement under our kitchen floor that after 38 years had tilted a bit due to rain seeping in from the deck under the kitchen. Right away I could tell he is a very knowledgeable expert who understood the issue and gave us an estimate that we accepted same day. Today 2/6/2025 his technical experts Dave Santiago & team came and finished the job perfectly in under 4 hours. Remarkable people, honest, straight forward, no games, value for the money; worth the ~$9,000 spent. I'd do this again if I had another home! Sorry, tried a few times to attach photos but I failed! Highly recommend Josh Kennedy and Dave Santiago – truly well trained experts for your ground projects.

Luke and Kaly came out today to lift my concrete and did a fantastic job of getting everything as level as they could. I have a lot of cracked concrete on an 80 year old property that needed leveled and sealed. Mike the initial guy that came out to go over what insurance wanted fixed as well as my concerns worked with me to get an affordable option for the job! They also offer great financing options if needed. I did just the lift portion from them but I'll do do all the filling of the cracks just bc I know how and it saved me money. I have a 3 year warranty where they will come out and measure and check everything once a year and a 5 year warranty on the work itself! This was not the cheapest company I got quotes from but they were the most professional and also had the warranties for the work so that is why I chose them! If you need help with lifting your home or concrete I'd highly recommend Groundworks!!!

I have used Select Basement which is now Groundworks for years and across several properties. In NJ there are only two outfits that deal with basements. The other one are incredibly overpriced and do not give any confidence that they are honest. Groundworks dealt with pump installs, maintenance, crack sealing with epoxy and redoing basement wells. Overall they are a consistent and quality service provider and part of my go to team for my various basements.

We just finished the job of leveling and resealing our concrete pool deck. The result is even better than I dared to imagine. NICK and his crew did an outstanding job and cared for every detail. Extremely happy with our pick and based on the interaction so far I KNOW that if something comes up down the line, they will not let me down.
