He explained what his investigation was going to entail and then met with me to give his assessment and next steps to resolve the situation. He explained in detail everything that needed to be done to ensure my peace of mind that the work was not extensive. We went through the contract and the cost . From start to finish, Groundworks provided great work. I am a new homeowner, learning about the woes of maintaining a home. Unfortunately, the foundation on my 1960s house was affecting the ability to close my front door. Daniel Raymond gave me a free, but very thorough inspection of the foundation repairs needed on my home. I was pleased to find out Groundworks offers financing without interest. I probably could have found a more affordable company, but I felt comfort in knowing that the piers have a life time warranty and the foam a 5 year warranty. When the day came to get started on the foundation work, it began to snow. Dakota (structural foreman), Philip (co-foreman) and Jose (installer) still showed up on time and got to work. Although they did not get everything done due to the weather, they returned on Saturday (their day off) to finish where they left off. I especially appreciated that they returned to re-cement a few areas where the mailman and stray cats stepped on. Very sweet of them. On a separate day, "the poly guys" came to inject the foam inside and outside my house. Joe (poly foreman) and Alejandro (installer) explained the process before and as they were injecting the foam. For each section, they made sure I was happy with the results. My pups loved them! Communication throughout the whole process was excellent. I was able to call/text any of the foremen and inspector directly about any questions or concerns I had.I recommend Groundworks to anyone looking for quality and reliable foundation repair.

Luke and Kaly came out today to lift my concrete and did a fantastic job of getting everything as level as they could. I have a lot of cracked concrete on an 80 year old property that needed leveled and sealed. Mike the initial guy that came out to go over what insurance wanted fixed as well as my concerns worked with me to get an affordable option for the job! They also offer great financing options if needed. I did just the lift portion from them but I'll do do all the filling of the cracks just bc I know how and it saved me money. I have a 3 year warranty where they will come out and measure and check everything once a year and a 5 year warranty on the work itself! This was not the cheapest company I got quotes from but they were the most professional and also had the warranties for the work so that is why I chose them! If you need help with lifting your home or concrete I'd highly recommend Groundworks!!!

The group was very plesant to work with and not a minute was wasted-they worked at capacity continually. Their percision really caught my attention. They checked each other's work and they required all measurements be perfect. When using their levels they adjusted until they had percision. They explained each step of the project and were just a joy to have working for me. If I have another project for Groundworks, I'd like to have this team work for me. I used the services twice. The first time was to stabilize 3 sides of the house. The second time was to stabilize the front of the house. The sales and service persons are professional and take time to listen to me. The first time there were some damages to the irragation and they came back to fix it. The second time was even better (Matthew K, Fernado A, Mike L, David L and Elyas V, Five stars from me). Everything went smooth. The crews were efficient and friendly. Both projects were completed as estimated. Even the price is higher than other companies but the technology and materials are different. For long term, I think I made a right decision to use GW.

I scheduled BAU to come out and do and inspection and confirmed that the misc cracks were being caused by settling foundation. The inspector, Chance, was outstanding making sure to explain what was happening and how to correct it. Our house needed 16 push piers to stabilize parts of the house that were settling up to 1 3/4". I've never been more stressed out. Enter Luis, Ken, and a few others whose names escape me. They were fantastic completing the work in about a week. It's hard to explain exactly what was done, but I ca. tell you that these guys know what they're doing. BAU also did some concrete work that also turned out great. Im extremely happy with my decision to use BAU/Grounworks and would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to others needing g this type of work. Well done! and thank you!

He told me his company couldn't do any this because of the possibilty of damaging the equipment. He said the slab looked stable and it had sunk as much as it would. I appreciated his honesty in his reviews. He recommended GreenSky for the financing. He walked me through the financing. I told him I wanted to show his workup to my son who lives out of the country. He was understanding. I got the financing quickly and a date for doing the work was communicated to me. The work was done today March 18 by Poly foreman Joe and his co lead Kaly. I couldn't have asked for better employees. They called me before they came and gave me estimated time of arrival. They were on time and Joe walked me through all the work they would be doing. He told me I should feel free to come out to see what they were doing. I had not realized my pool cover should have been removed. Joe happened to have the tool needed to remove the necessary tie downs. He took care of it for me. He asked for my advice on a specific area around the pool. I based my decision on his expertise. They did a great job efficiently. When they completed the work, Joe walked me through what they had done. He helped me with understanding the payment from Green Sky and the five year warranty and the three-year yearly inspection. The employee's were exceptional and kind in the work they did. I would highly recommend this company.

Rick was the best! I have had 3 different companies come out for my foundation and none of them took the time to actually crawl in and look at the area of concern. It was not an easy crawl, but Rick was able to see that the job wouldn’t be impossible (like the other 3 companies said it was). Groundworks, you are lucky to have Rick. Nobody wants to deal with leaks in their basement, and I would wager that paying for a new basement gutter and sump pump is not at the top of anyone's wish list, but Groundworks made this as good an experience as it could possibly be. The two onsite crew in particular (Logan Parsons and Tai Mark) did a fantastic job of keeping me in the loop as they worked away. They were also super friendly and professional. Groundworks was great to work with. I had a leak in my basement and Jeremy from Groundworks came to my home and clearly explained what they would do. The cost was less than their competitors. Emanuel and Luis installed everything and they were very professional, communicated well, and did an excellent job. Emanuel asked me often if I had any questions and he kept me informed as to all the steps in the process. He and Luis worked diligently all day and were able to complete the project in one day. They tested the sump pump to make sure it worked and a few days after they left, we got rain and I had NO water in my basement. I was very impressed and would highly recommend Groundworks.

I was very impressed with the job the crew did replacing my crawl space posts and leveling the floor. They were able to close up all the cracks from the settlement, and also helped address a few long outstanding squeaks in the floor. Luis was also great at communicating some issues he found with the existing beams and how they resolved it. The initial inspection and quote process from Daniel was also surprisingly painless compared to other companies— a fair price and solid explanations for what was going on, without trying to upsell.

They were careful not to bind my door or damage the porch rails. They explained to me the importance of having the porch positioned so that drainage went away from the house. They provided a seal and cosmetic patch between the house and porch, which was an unexpected service that they provided. I couldn't be more happy with the result! They were professional, careful and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Groundworks.

We are doing some renovations to our house and decided that in order to do them, we finally needed to address the obvious foundation repairs necessary to do them correctly. I performed a Google search for foundation repair companies in the Houston area. Foundation Support Specialist was able to schedule me for that very same day. Brian E. was the field inspector assigned to give our house an inspection and estimate for foundation repair. We received notification about 20 minutes prior to his scheduled time by text messages and a phone call, stating that he was on his way. Brian arrived precisely at his scheduled time and was courteous and friendly. After he introduced himself and told us about his company Groundworks (formerly Foundation Support Specialist), he went over a checklist with us to get some history of our home. Afterwards he explained how he would be inspecting our house and what exactly he was looking for. He got to work and was very thorough and professional during his inspection. He measured and drew up a scale diagram of our house, then proceeded to use his Ziplevel to take altitude measurements of the floor throughout our house. His measurements showed that our foundation had sunk almost 2" on the NW corner of our house. He showed us a slideshow on why foundations settle, common practices to repair, and how Groundworks repairs foundations. When he was done, he gave us 3 levels of estimates. A minimal necessary repair, A mid range estimate, and a high end estimate that included extra piers on the SE corner to help support the opposite side of the slab from the repairs. He explained what each level included and answered any questions we had. Brian spent about 2 hours with us and all in all it was a pleasant experience. We have 2 more companies coming out in the next week to give us estimates, and unless they use a similar pier into bedrock system and drastically lower price, we will most likely choose Groundworks for our repairs.
