I have an older mid 1960's Ranch House that the walls were cracking, the foundation had cracks in it, and really needed attention. The Groundworks crew including Luke Cummings, the Zaw Tun, and Isaiah Leichtle were absolutely incredible. Twenty-five special plates and Foundation push piers were installed to the footing in a little over a 4 ft crawl space. It involved digging and using specialized equipment. The difficult hard work of the crew and their equipment will keep my foundation sound for the rest of my lifetime. The job was completed in less time than was planned. The crew made sure everything was laser accurately correct. When they left everything looked great and they even swept out my garage where they went in and out. Their time, knowledge, and hard work is greatly appreciated! The whole process from digitally measuring the floor (Randy James), getting the permit, engineer approval, and the actual work was exceptional! Luke, Zaw, and Isaiah were a pleasure to meet. Thank you for your hard work.

Very professional outfit, easy setting of appointment. A few confirmations through text, and email. Inspector called the same day to confirm appointment, and again thirty minutes before appointment as promised. Richard was great, experienced, knowledgeable, and used his digital meters to checkout the balance of the upstairs floors. No pressure inspection, he verified that things seemed alright with his test. Encouraged me to schedule a recommended company for a soil sample. If they found needed work underneath my home, Groundswork could help. Inspection was 100% cost free, with an honest approach to my homes evaluation. Strongly recommend their service!

I recently had Groundworks install a French drain system and sump pump in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and respectful of my property from start to finish. They took the time to explain each step of the process, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed throughout the installation. Their knowledge and attention to detail gave me confidence that the job was being done correctly. While the cost was a significant investment, I believe the peace of mind it provides is worth it. I am looking forward to no longer stressing about water entering my home during heavy rain or wet seasons. I want to provide a big shout out to the great people at Groundworks. I had issues with an addition where the foundation was slipping away from the house causing increasing damage over time. I was able to receive a quick, complete estimate from Robert who answered all our questions and even came back after reviewing the plan with the engineer and found a way to save us money with a change in strategy. John and his team showed up and were happy warriors on the two coldest days in the past decade and did a fantastic job. Once the work was done I noticed there was slightly more damage on the inside than I expected due to the leveling of the foundation and way the room had initially been built. I contacted Groundworks and Dan came out to review with me and was able to provide a modest rebate. From start to finish the experience was prompt, professional, and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this company and their employees and will not hesitate to reach out in the future for any further foundation issues.

Foundation Repair – REVIEW To: Groundworks Foundation Company I just wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation to the two crews your company sent to my house this week, to do some major foundation repair work. The first crew consisted of Foreman Brenden, along with his crew of Steven, Justin, and Angel. They were joined by a second crew that consisted of Adam, Josh, and Wes. Both crews worked together on the first day to get a total of 19 holes started around our house, which would allow Brendon to use the hydraulic press that would push the steel poles into the ground that would eventually support the flange immediately under the edge of the foundation. The soil our house is built on is called blackland and is very thick and heavy when wet, as was the case this week when the work was started. This type of soil is very difficult to work with when wet, as opposed to when it is dry, but both crews went to work immediately to get the pilot holes dug around the house. I was impressed with their ability to dig those holes with the soil being in the worst possible condition at this time, to do so. After both crews completed many of the holes for the steel pipes to go into, the second crew was able to leave to go to another work location, and that left the first crew to begin the installation of the steel pipes that would eventually support the foundation, and also complete a few remaining holes that had not been dug at that time. All of the work was well organized and everyone had a job to do. I never saw anyone taking a break, and at the end of the first day, I would say half of the pipe supports had been installed. I was informed they would be back early on the second day to complete the work. They showed up right around 8am and immediately picked up where they left off the night before. By mid-afternoon, everything was in place and Brenden began taking readings in various rooms of our home to see how much the foundation had raised. Most readings ranged from about a half inch to as much as 1.5 inches, which was a great improvement overall. But the most secure feeling about the work is that our foundation is stabilized and will not continue to cause the cracks in the sheetrock of several rooms, that we have experienced over the past couple of years. We will now be able to make repairs and paint, where necessary, and know that any repair work will remain permanent. Before the crew was going to leave, we were asked if we were pleased with the work and how it was done. I told Brenden that we could not have been happier with the results, and were very impressed with the technology that Groundworks used to secure and stabilize our foundation, so that we should not have any further issues in the future. Please give my best regards to each of these two crews who worked here this week, and I know they are all a tremendous asset to your company. Richard Boydstun Sachse, TX 75048

I had an appointment today to evaluate some structural concerns with my home, and the experience exceeded expectations. The inspector, Adam Chaney, was extremely thorough and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain what he was seeing, what the underlying issues were, and how they could be addressed. What stood out most was the level of detail and patience – this was not a quick in-and-out visit. He spent a couple of hours walking through everything with me, and made sure I fully understood the situation before wrapping up. It’s rare to come across someone who combines technical knowledge with strong communication skills. Adam represents the company very well. Honestly, give this guy a raise or something – he’s outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this company based on my experience.

Our inspector showed up and went over the different options with us and didn’t pressure us to make our decision. We felt confident with the solution the inspector, Kalen provided us and the team delivered upon our every expectation.
