Nathan quickly repaired a loose gutter installed in a pipe belonging to my system, and inspected the system in my house. Everything was A-okay! He showed me photos of everything he inspected. I had never seen the inside of the pump well before, very interesting! He answered all my questions My system and backup battery passed the test! Unfortunately we were among many in our neighborhood who needed foundation repair. We were evaluated and put on the schedule with a month time and a surprisingly low quote after I had been hearing my neighbors quote at least 3 times what we were quoted. The crew that came were prompt, checking in by text. They removed then replanted some shrubs and removed a small tree. They repaired a concrete hole in the driveway. Over all cleaned up nicely removing trash and sweeping dirt from the driveway. I hope I do not have to but I would hire them again. Highly recommend.

John showed me a lot of pictures of the finished product and it looked wonderful not having the old insulation hanging down. They did a great job! Ron and Chris were excellent! They did a thorough inspection and went over the process in detail. Covered everything about what the job would entail and every option I had. When I got the quote for the price it was out of my budget so they worked with me to come up with an alternative plan for the job and a financing option that fit my budget. Also while talking with them we developed a friendly relationship and these guys have exceptional people skills, are professional and can hold a real conversation all while getting the work done and not wasting any time. I never felt pressured in to anything I wasn’t comfortable with. They are very knowledgeable about the subject and we’re able to answer all my questions. This company seems to solve what’s causing the actual problem, not just fix what you can see. I’d recommend them to anyone having any water problems in their basements.

Am dealing with some foundation issues and contacted Groundworks for their recomendation. The day started with a call from Andrew Young. Andrew introduced himself, verified our appointment time, and gathered some preliminary information over the phone. He arrived promptly for the appointment, explained what he would be doing on the property and advised that his inspection would take some time. He asked if we had any questions, and immediately got to work. During the inspection Andrew pointed out a number of things, and offered explanations for what was happening and why. When his inspection was done, he provided a thorough presentation that explained his plan for remediaton. It all made logical sense, once Andrew explained it. Bottom line – I was impressed with Andrews explanations, his willingness to listen, and his knowledge of what is going on underground. Thanks Andrew!

Roger and his crew (Juan, Mikey, Erik) began by identifying the proper drainage path and ensuring the trench had a consistent slope so water would naturally flow away from the house. The trenches were dug cleanly and to the correct depth, and a proper gravel base was laid before the perforated pipe was installed. The pipe was positioned with the perforations facing downward, which is the correct orientation for capturing groundwater. A high‑quality landscape fabric was used to wrap the pipe and gravel, preventing soil intrusion while still allowing water to pass through. This is a step that many installers skip, so I appreciated that it was done correctly. After backfilling, the surface was graded to ensure water would not pool above the system. I want to provide a big shout out to the great people at Groundworks. I had issues with an addition where the foundation was slipping away from the house causing increasing damage over time. I was able to receive a quick, complete estimate from Robert who answered all our questions and even came back after reviewing the plan with the engineer and found a way to save us money with a change in strategy. John and his team showed up and were happy warriors on the two coldest days in the past decade and did a fantastic job. Once the work was done I noticed there was slightly more damage on the inside than I expected due to the leveling of the foundation and way the room had initially been built. I contacted Groundworks and Dan came out to review with me and was able to provide a modest rebate. From start to finish the experience was prompt, professional, and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this company and their employees and will not hesitate to reach out in the future for any further foundation issues.

Had an interior drain and new sump pump installed about 2 years ago and Groundworks provides 5 yearly inspections. It was a lot of work but ultimately fixed the water coming into the basement. Just had a follow up inspection with Jeremy Elston and he walked me through all the components he was checking and why. Jeremy also reviewed other areas of the basement that might be trouble in the future, gave realistic advice on the severity and suggested we keep an eye on it going forward. I hope I don't have any other basement issues in the future but if so, Groundworks is the place that fixes them.

Krista did a wonderful job. She started outside and had me show her my areas of concern and explained what was going to happen next with her inspection. Once the inspection was completed she showed me the areas that actually were an issue and the areas that were fine. She had created a diagram that went over what needed to be fixed and how each area would need be fixed since some were different. This was great for me because in one smaller area I was going to need an additional lower level of support. She explained what the lower level of support was and why I needed it in only that small area. After showing me everything and explaining how it would be fixed she made sure I didn't have any questions. We went over her estimate, what the process would be and then reviewed the contract. She again made sure I didn't have any questions before I signed the contract. I had a great experience with Groundworks and highly recommend Krista.

As always, we had a great experience with Groundworks a few days ago, when Matthew Wyatt came to do an annual checkup of the encapsulation and dehumidification system we had installed in our crawlspace last year. He was thorough, professional, and answered all of our questions precisely.
