You never know if a big company is just telling you what you want to hear. When your house is starting to fall apart, big ticket items like fixing your foundation is scary. For a moment, we weren’t sure if we went with the right company. And then Jeremy Elston showed up. It felt like the first time someone was telling us the truth and not scamming us. He was so incredibly thorough and respectful of our home. He took his time and explained to us what he was doing and why. Foundation repairs aren’t always one and done. When the time came to make some adjustments, Jeremy was back and walking us through next steps. We feel confident in the work done and its impact to our home. Select Basement Waterproofing recently merged with or was acquired by Groundworks. SBW did a fair amount of work in my basement — French drains, installed 2 sump pumps, and epoxied the floor. Great job, wonderful project manager (Kenny), terrific technicians. I love that they call every year to remind me to schedule my annual service. This year Groundworks called, explained the name change, and Kenny was the technician for my annual service! It seems like most of SBW's employees went over to Groundworks and they're just as friendly and deliver what they promised. Love this company.

WOW! Groundworks is a great, reliable company! We had the dream team, Ryan, Alejando (Alex) and Jose, working on our home. Ryan kept us informed on what was going on the during the whole project. Ryan and Alex were so reassuring of all our fears and concerns, we knew we were in good hands. Alex and Jose were so polite and talk about hard working!! All three of them went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations, saving some landscaping we didn't expect to be saved. They took great care with our landscaping and yard and did not cause any unexpected damage to any of it! They did a great job with the clean-up at the end of the job as well. Foundation Repair – REVIEW To: Groundworks Foundation Company I just wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation to the two crews your company sent to my house this week, to do some major foundation repair work. The first crew consisted of Foreman Brenden, along with his crew of Steven, Justin, and Angel. They were joined by a second crew that consisted of Adam, Josh, and Wes. Both crews worked together on the first day to get a total of 19 holes started around our house, which would allow Brendon to use the hydraulic press that would push the steel poles into the ground that would eventually support the flange immediately under the edge of the foundation. The soil our house is built on is called blackland and is very thick and heavy when wet, as was the case this week when the work was started. This type of soil is very difficult to work with when wet, as opposed to when it is dry, but both crews went to work immediately to get the pilot holes dug around the house. I was impressed with their ability to dig those holes with the soil being in the worst possible condition at this time, to do so. After both crews completed many of the holes for the steel pipes to go into, the second crew was able to leave to go to another work location, and that left the first crew to begin the installation of the steel pipes that would eventually support the foundation, and also complete a few remaining holes that had not been dug at that time. All of the work was well organized and everyone had a job to do. I never saw anyone taking a break, and at the end of the first day, I would say half of the pipe supports had been installed. I was informed they would be back early on the second day to complete the work. They showed up right around 8am and immediately picked up where they left off the night before. By mid-afternoon, everything was in place and Brenden began taking readings in various rooms of our home to see how much the foundation had raised. Most readings ranged from about a half inch to as much as 1.5 inches, which was a great improvement overall. But the most secure feeling about the work is that our foundation is stabilized and will not continue to cause the cracks in the sheetrock of several rooms, that we have experienced over the past couple of years. We will now be able to make repairs and paint, where necessary, and know that any repair work will remain permanent. Before the crew was going to leave, we were asked if we were pleased with the work and how it was done. I told Brenden that we could not have been happier with the results, and were very impressed with the technology that Groundworks used to secure and stabilize our foundation, so that we should not have any further issues in the future. Please give my best regards to each of these two crews who worked here this week, and I know they are all a tremendous asset to your company. Richard Boydstun Sachse, TX 75048

Fantastic experience with Groundworks (Colo Spgs) so far! After submitting a request for a free inspection and estimate online, Mike Geiger, site inspector, contacted me by phone within an hour. He came all the way down to Pagosa Springs the next day. He was right on time. Very personable and professional. Reviewed our situation in detail, explained everything he saw in a very clear and understandable manner, answered all our questions knowledgably, and pointed out a couple of items to take care of before they do a lift of our concrete slab. Mike provided an itemized estimate while on site, and explained all the costs. We were happy to accept the estimate and get on the schedule to have such an obviously competent and reliable company do the work we need. Mike was such a pleasure to talk to and work with; I can't say enough good things about him! We are on their schedule to have the actual work done, but I wanted to provide this review even before that, since our initial contact with Groundworks was so good!! If you need a company for this kind of work, I highly recommend giving Groudworks, and Mike Geiger, a call. I had a wonderful experience with Waterworks. I had a ground water problem in the subfloor under my basement. Waterworks (Sean) came out, assessed the situation, and recommended a solution that would solve the problem. He made sure I understood the scope of the work to be done and how it would resolve the ground water problem. The solution Waterworks proposed was superior to the other bids I received. The work was quickly scheduled and the work crew arrived promptly. The work crew (Spenser, Ray, Toby, Jace, and Travis D) did excellent work. As they worked on the project, they encountered some unexpected issues that Spencer and the crew problem solved to address. Spenser kept me informed daily throughout the project on the crew’s progress and what they were doing to solve the unexpected issues. I was very satisfied with the timeliness and quality of the work. I would recommend Waterworks.

A quick orientation and they got to it. Amazing results! I could literally watch each of the large slabs float back to level with the next ones. The heaved or sunken slabs are no more. The crew were experienced, competent, capable, extremely courteous and invited me to watch each step in the process. Yes, this is a long review and it would get 10 Stars if I could. Thank you to regional manager Chris Backus, GM Tommy Chechel, Senior field supervisor Dominic, Senior inspector Benjamin Slade and installer Jose and crew. Groundworks recently installed their triple sump system with battery back up. The installation was facilitated by Mr. Backus and Mr. Chechel, the job was completed by Jose in a timely fashion and supervised by Dominic. Workers were on time, took precautions with drop cloths etc, did the installation and cleaned up afterwards. The system works flawlessly and affords peace of mind with the back up. I highly recommend Groundworks and will continue to use them in the future.

Communication with Ground Works and staff is always smooth. I knew when Riley would arrive and Brandon let me know Riley was in my driveway. Riley was/is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in his examining, and describing, the foundation and any changes that occurred since the last yearly review. I was able to ask questions and get answers. Riley suggested a dehumidifying/air purifying system that would be beneficial and he was able to install it that day. My house is old, but continues to be safe and strong. Thank you Ground Works, Riley, Brandon and those who have been here in the past working and inspecting.

I am disabled. It was critical that it be completed quickly so a new deck could be built so I didn't fall. The sinking of the house and front stoop made it very unsafe. It took two days and they were done , cleaned up making sure it was safe for me. I really appreciate the quality of the work. It being done in a timely fashion and being Cleaned up. So no matter the problem with shoring up things they can fix it. I got my referral from a neighbor who said they were wonderful with their sinking driveway.
