We bought our home in 2018 in Duchesne, Utah. The home had been built in 2006 by a local contractor, who was also the seller. Unfortunately, there was a hidden problem beneath our foundation footings: a 50/50 mix of reject material and clay. After seeing Groundworks’ commercials, we called to schedule a free inspection. Within a week, Jack came to our home. He was extremely thorough and used a laser level to determine how much our home had settled. Sure enough, our home had dropped 3¼ inches on the southwest side from the center of the house. As a homeowner, this was devastating news. The problem was hidden beneath our foundation—something you simply can’t see when you’re buying a home. Jack took the time to explain everything and showed us a presentation detailing exactly what was causing the settlement and how it could be repaired. He also presented several financing options. At no time did we feel pressured to make a decision. We knew our home needed to be repaired, and we appreciated being able to make that decision without any sales pressure. From our initial inspection to the start of the project was only one month. Our three-man crew consisted of the most dedicated, knowledgeable, reliable, and hard-working men: Kaleb, Christian, and Aiden. They answered every question we had throughout the project and kept us informed every step of the way. Their teamwork was impressive, and they completed the job safely, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. They communicated with us every day about when they would arrive, and they were always on time. They also took great care to protect our lawn by covering it with heavy-duty plastic. When the job was finished and everything was cleaned up, our yard looked fantastic—not like it had been through a construction zone. We cannot recommend Groundworks highly enough. They took one of the most devastating situations a homeowner can face and helped us understand the problem, the solution, and what to expect throughout the process. Knowing our home’s repair is backed by a transferable lifetime warranty gives us tremendous peace of mind. That peace of mind is priceless. Thank you, Jack, Kaleb, Christian, and Aiden, for your professionalism, honesty, and outstanding work.

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by Groundworks which included 2 pumps, a fan and a ton of insulating materials. The "crawlspace" has a 5-foot ceiling. The crew of foreman: Jacob N., and Richard S., Tim C. and Markee G. were polite, professional, and very hard working. They finished at least two days ahead of the original schedule (probably due to the high ceiling) and cleaned up well after themselves. Jacob answered my many questions and phone calls and went out of his way to leave everything the way he found it. He even returned several days later to replace some pavers he had to remove in order to run a drainpipe under the walkway. When he did that, he also reset some pavers I had not done such a hot job on replacing after I dug a root from underneath them a year or so earlier. We plan on using them when we can afford to run another beam under the house to stiffen up the floor. We are very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

My boyfriend recently inherited a house, and not long after beginning renovations, we discovered that the foundation had significant damage. Several of our support pillars were failing, and the concrete pedestals underneath them were damaged as well. Because of the severity of the issues, Groundworks was able to get us on their schedule as quickly as possible, which we really appreciated. Travis D., Josh L., Downey W., and Raymond P. made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience as painless as possible. They worked in our crawlspace despite its difficult condition and tackled a very challenging repair. They replaced our damaged supports with new metal support posts and made sure everything was done properly. The crew was professional, hardworking, and respectful throughout the entire process. We’re grateful for their work and would definitely recommend Groundworks to anyone dealing with foundation issues.

We had 2 workers Guiles Hall and Kevin Brito. They did an outstanding job and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything to us before , during an after the repairs which we truly appreciated. Their workmanship, professionalism and attention to details were excellent. They cleaned up the work- site and you would never know they were here.I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. He gave us a fair estimate , explaining the process and scheduled our job. When there was an opening to push that date up we were called by Kelsie. She efficiently arranged everything. Today Caleb and Tyler were here to work on our project. Our 40 year old sidewalks had major tripping hazards and separation. They again explained what they would be doing to solve the problems. They were respectful of our property. They are true technicians. The process was fascinating. Everything was completed above my expectations. It looks great and has improved our safety. Malik oversaw the project of installing a new sump pump in our crawlspace, rim joist Insulation, drainage matting and extreme block. Malik educated us about the sump pump system and explained how each layer would give us more protection against water damage, rodents, etc. Upon completion, we were amazed at how clean everything was and everything was done meticulously! I highly recommend Malik and his crew, as he is dedicated to doing an excellent job and making sure everything is perfectly done!

CFR Robert (Bob) H., performed a wonderful job getting us set up for a new Basement project. he walked us through the most cost efficient ways to ensure our basement is finished the correct way. He provided us with several versions of our vision. We have completed the waterproofing section and the team did an amazing job. Alec C, Nick B Nick, C Richard, Wilson and John, and Nelson performed a wonderful job installing a battery back up unit and sump pump system in our basement. The team was on time, clean and efficient. every aspect of their work that needed a permit was submitted and inspected. He even answered my calls when I had a couple quick questions about our contract. The crew that came to work on my house was Brogan, Aaron, Caden, and Devin. These guys got the work done I was intially quoted for two days but they were able to finish it in one. They even worked with me when I had concerns about the vegitation around my house. These guys know what they are doing and are doing it good, I definitely recommend these guys!
