Over the last year or so ago, a metal support that was attached to my porch broke away when the screws rusted through. After this happened I noticed that there was a significant gap between the porch and the support. I wedged in some rocks to stabilize the support while I tried to figure out what to do. Then, recently, I heard an advertisement on the radio for Groundworks, and thought it might be a solution. So, I met with AJ, who was very friendly and thorough, explaining the process, the financial aspect and answering my questions. Also, based on his advice, they were able to include stabilizing and sealing the cement pad in front of my garage. I set up the appointment, and a few weeks later I received a confirmation call from Zech. The next morning, Zech and Jacob arrived, introduced themselves and reviewed the job and addressed any questions and concerns I had. A couple of hours later, the job was done and it looks great. The porch looks better than it has in a very long time. Plus, the support is now lined up with the porch, and all I'll need to do is bolt it back down. I'm extremely happy with their work, and take comfort in the multi-year warranty. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Ricardo reached out to me in advance and they were able to start on the project earlier than expected. Ricardo, along with Ty, John, Charles and Richard were all very professional and friendly. They did a great job. I will get some pictures on , but it's as advertised. Going under the house isn't a big deal anymore. They left the area that they went through clean, like they were never there. It seems a bit expensive to do this, but I definitely would not want to do it. Much respect to this crew.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mark for my yearly inspection. I had my crawl space encapsulated last year. Mark advised me that I had some water above and below the barrier. I have been dealing with a very difficult builder who does not want to deal with significant grading issues that is causing the water accumulation. Mark gave me his recommendation for how best to deal with diverting water away from my home. He is going to send me a report with pictures that I can forward to my builder. Much easier than trying to remember everything Mark told me which was a lot. It was like chatting with an old friend. He was so friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable. I would recommend Groundworks to everyone. The crew last year was just as wonderful. Thank you so much Mark. It is so great dealing with technicians who love their work

Diego fully explained the process before the work started, and I was left with no doubts of what to expect. The work was completed by early evening. The work areas were left clean and undisturbed. Job well done. But beyond all that, these young gentlemen displayed a fun, positive attitude. This team was great to have around, and I know they’ll be continually successful on their jobs. The feeling of being put at ease before and after the work is done is rare, and very appreciated. Over the winter , my pvc pump outlets came up through the ground and was not sloped properly away from my garage. I called to have them look at the issue. Jeremy came out and recognized the problem immediately. He got his tools out and re-dug the trench while adding the proper slope. After fixing the issue, Jeremy raked up the gravel and dirt filling in the trench. When done you would have never known that we had an issue. Jeremy was very professional, on time and polite. We had a perimeter drain ditch installed around our condominium interior crawl space with relocation and deepening of the existing sump pump. I toured the space just after the job was done and found no significant pooled water under the vapor barrier. Only a few days earlier I had noted pooling as much as 3-4”. Groundwork’s is the only company I could find who would actually agree to do this. It works! The job was done exactly as promised with an efficient, polite, hard working crew. Highly recommended!

Marvin and Larry arrived Saturday, April 11, 2026, and began working right away to install a powerful dehumidifier that vented moisture from the basement to the outside. The process was explained to me and to my contractor; they made sure both of us understood the whole process of beginning to remove mold from my basement. Both young men were respectful and worked quickly and efficiently. Before they left they made sure we understood what they had done that day, and left a manual for the dehumidifier, which my contractor appreciated. Both were open to any questions that we had. My brother who does this kind of work in Maryland said I got a deal on the price. Should have been 3 to 5k more. I don't know . I just had to get my main beam in my crawl space leveled n secured . They took great care to fill the drill holes with the perfect amount of environmentally friendly foam, sealed all the cracks, and cleaned up everything. They went the extra mile in putting my awkward heavy cabinet and other items back in their proper places. Tyler and Nick were personable, kind, and very attentive to m t every question. I recently purchased a house knowing there were foundation issues regarding uneven flooring. I contacted Ohio Basememt Authority. They sent out Zach Wagner. He then spent his time carefully taking pictures and creating a whole layout of the house inside and out. As well as measuring each room to get a more accurate solution. After that he offered a suit I could wear if I wanted to enter the crawl space with him. So we went into the crawl space and he pointed out everything he could see that needed fixing even besides the foundation. After he took all the measurements and showed me all the problems and potential hazards in the crawl space, we talk over the exact way Ohio Basement Authority would resolve the issue and made sure to answer any and all questions I had. He was a very professional and knowledgeable guy. I had a great inspection experience and wanted to thank Zach Wagner and his company!

Inspector called the same day to confirm appointment, and again thirty minutes before appointment as promised. Richard was great, experienced, knowledgeable, and used his digital meters to checkout the balance of the upstairs floors. No pressure inspection, he verified that things seemed alright with his test. Encouraged me to schedule a recommended company for a soil sample. If they found needed work underneath my home, Groundswork could help. Inspection was 100% cost free, with an honest approach to my homes evaluation. Strongly recommend their service!
