This review is for Jon Geddie with Mountain Valley Foundations, and I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the very first phone call, Jon was professional, courteous, and attentive. When we scheduled the appointment, he showed up exactly when he said he would — which already speaks volumes about his character. But what really impressed us was what happened next. Jon didn’t just “look around” and throw together a quick estimate. He took his time — real time — to thoroughly inspect everything. He crawled underneath the crawlspace, carefully examined the foundation, inspected the cross members, and checked every area where there could potentially be an issue. He was methodical, detailed, and incredibly thorough. It was clear he genuinely cared about understanding the full scope of the situation rather than just selling a service. We originally reached out for an estimate on encapsulation, but Jon made sure no stone was left unturned. He explained what he was seeing in clear, understandable terms — not technical jargon that leaves you confused. He broke down the pricing step by step and walked us through financing options that are available. There was zero pressure. Just honesty and information. What really stood out to us was his integrity. Jon didn’t rush us. He didn’t push us. He didn’t make us feel like we were “just another job.” He gave us space to think, answered every question patiently, and made sure we were comfortable and confident in what was being discussed. He even pointed out additional services and features the company offers that could benefit us in the future — not in a sales-driven way, but in a helpful, informative way. Beyond his professionalism, Jon is simply a great human being. He is knowledgeable, respectful, well-mannered, and genuinely pleasant to be around. We actually sat down and enjoyed lunch together while he was here, and at no point did he seem rushed or distracted. That speaks volumes. In today’s world, it’s rare to meet someone who blends professionalism with such authenticity and kindness. Jon is reliable, trustworthy, and follows through on what he says he will do — and then goes above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in representing Mountain Valley Foundations the right way. My husband and I found Mount Valley Foundation through Angies list. They were prompt and had us an appointment right away. We were introduced to Mr. Jonathan Geddie. He made us both feel comfortable as he went through every detail of the company and how they operate. Also, when he started to evaluate our home he was very thorough and gave us every detail and information to how to solve our foundation issues. He made sure we understood and listened to our questions and concerns. Having a company that is not only well known to many, but to have someone like Mr. Jonathan who is well aware and knows his job so well helped us realize we chose the right and best company. We are so appreciative to Mr. Jonathan and the time we took with us.

Excellent is an understatement!!! Really it is I have never this far in my life ever meet such honest, professional, communicating, helping you to understand the process you are going into in my life. These people are definitely heaven sent. They take time to walk you through every step, show you pictures of what's going on and what has been done. Chris was very highly informative when coming out to give my estimate. And the crew Shawn and Alex I couldn't ask for better!! Goggle only allows 5 stars. These guys get 20 stars from me!!! Dustin answered all our questions and provided repair options. Yiannis and Landon arrived on schedule and were very professional. They did a fantastic job lifting and leveling a sunken section of concrete driveway. It looks like new! After completing the repairs in only a couple of hours, they cleaned up everything. Great experience! I would definitely use them for any other similar repairs in the future.

5 star review but the Only issue is that 2 of the guys that were here working was using real bad language thankfully my children weren't around but they were yelling and using it across my yard at each other so my neighbors with small kids most likely heard them . They also left nail gun nails all in my driveway which could of been bad if myself or someone else ran them over. They left some trash throughout my carport.

I had to have 2 steel beams and jacks put under my floor because my house was sagging from on end to the other side Scott McCloskey came and looked at the job and told us what I needed to do. They were able to start the job in a week, which was earlier than the date I was given. Durand, Mary Beth and Eli did an excellent job on my foundation. They were all so polite when I went out to talk to them. They cleaned up everything after they finished. Durand kept us informed on everything. I will definitely refer anyone to Mount Valley Foundation.

We had an excellent experience with Mount Valley Foundation. Will was informative and supportive from the first evaluation to the project’s conclusion, going above and beyond to alleviate concerns. Ron (the foreman), Jacob and Von were professional, respectful, and very patient throughout the entire project to encapsulate the foundation and address some issues. Ron took the time to explain each step and made sure all of our questions were answered. The worksite was kept clean and organized, and we received regular updates along the way. The quality of work and communication from the entire team really stood out. We would absolutely recommend this company to others.

We had our crawl space encapsulated and dehumidifier installed. We were notified when the inspection was to take place. Everything was explained to us along with photos. The installers called when they were on their way. Cody and Von ( installers) were prompt, knowledgeable and did a good job. They let us know what they did and called us when they were on their way.

We discovered a crack in the foundation that ran along the interior of the outer walls of the house. I called Mount Valley and Dustin came to inspect. One corner of the foundation had dropped half an inch. I decided to contract their services. Yiannis and Landon arrived a few days later. They walked me through the repair process before proceeding and did a fantastic job. Before they left we walked through the work area and presented the results. I am impressed with quality of the work done. I will be recommending Mount Valley to everyone I know.
